Project Overview
Lambert Smith Hampton-LSH enlisted the help of Standing Space to revamp a reception area from the 1980s at Phoenix House. In addition to modernising and refurbishing the commercial entrance area, Standing Space created versatile spaces that could be used for a variety of purposes such as working, meeting, and waiting.
Standing Space also designed and installed a lighting feature in the full-height atrium space that stands out when approaching the building. They added new flooring and finishes, as well as a mix of soft seating and bespoke seating. The result is a remarkable commercial building with a unique design that stands out in Warrington.
Building History
The office building is four floors and covers 23,308 square feet. It was built in the 1990s and is of Grade A quality.

Design Challenges
Our task was to create an inviting and impactful space that would revive the outdated 90s interior. The space had to be multifunctional, serving both as a meeting cluster and a work area. Therefore, we aimed to strike the perfect balance between a welcoming reception area and a co-working space.
