Waterside House

Project Overview

Waterside House is a three-storey office building with excellent views across the River Wear. After acquiring Waterside House, Kingscrown Properties set about updating the dated interiors within the building. To provide excellent communal spaces that would standout to potential tenants. The works included refurbishment of the toilets, communal spaces, and the creation of a central destination breakout space & kitchen. Along side these works the floor plate was redivided to create a variety of different sized self-contained offices, varying from 500sqft up to 2,000 sqft. A new colour and materials palette was assembled for use within the building, these materials and colours where selected to give a link to the maritime past of Sunderland. The building is centrally located on Sunderland Enterprise Park, which is close to both Newcastle upon Tyne and Durham.

This project had a tight timeframe, as works had already commenced with stripping out of the old interiors when Standing Space was appointed.
